In retrospect, this $1 house chip from Las Vegas Club carries with it a sad story... It is the first chip issued after Barrick Gaming sold the casino to Tamares, who together had clear intentions of closing or demolishing the property. Barrick Gaming and Tamares were "in cahoots" and wrestled the property away from Jackie Gaughan, sealing its fate. Eventually Las Vegas Club was levelled and the land became part of where Circa sits today.
